The first single from DERHEROLD was released on Friday 8 November.
‘Shuddap’ is the first single of the rock music art project DERHEROLD, which will be released on 8 November together with a music video.
Behind the character and concept of DERHEROLD is the musician / artist / draughtsman Olav Däumling, whose musical and artistic experience from the last decades is impressively concentrated in the music and lyrics. In all facets, from the composition to the vocals and the artwork, the personality of the multi-talented artist is reflected in DERHEROLD.
The song ‘Shuddap’ describes the situation in which one partner tries to force the other into a relationship. One partner dominates the other against their will. Shuddap describes the escape from this toxic relationship.
The single contains the instrumental of the song as a B-side and will be included on the upcoming debut album ‘Arcanum I – Rage’ in spring. The album marks the beginning of a trilogy that will be released in the coming years.
